£500

stitchsmith-zahraa-aziz

Zahraa Aziz
University of Huddersfield

Using soft pinks and greys, Zahraa used a continuous line technique to create this print inspired by the natural lines and shapes of flowers, plants and animals.

Leta Siauruseviciute

Contrasting metallics and blacks, Leta took the inspiration for her design from the pattern of honeycomb to create a stunning geometric print.

It was a very difficult competition to judge and although they didn’t make the shortlist, there are a few designers we feel deserve a special mention. Well done to Anna Holmes and Beth Cole from the Royal School of Needlework and Letitia Clark from Norwich University of Arts.
